Everyone has a family story
Taylor Sam’s became a twinkle in Executive Chef, Scott Spivak’s eye in 2006, when he and his wife Dawn gave birth to a dream they named Sixth Avenue Bistro. They were in Toms River, NJ at the time and quickly watched young SAB as it grew into the local community hotspot for all to enjoy their unique flair on comfort cuisine. When most youngsters are just learning to walk, Sixth Avenue Bistro was up and running, having been voted, within it’s first year, one of the best fine dining rests in Ocean County in 2007 by The Asbury Park Press. It was evident that young SAB was destined for even greater things and eventually grew to focus solely on catering to it’s surrounding community and beyond.
The Brand is Established...
With the catering division in full effect, Taylor Sam’s was born in Brick NJ in 2013, with the same dream to expand their family in a new community. Chef Scott’s and Dawn’s goal has always been to offer a great breakfast and lunch experience for the local residents and visitors to the Jersey Shore. With the creation of an eclectic and homestyle menu featuring “scratch cooking”, young Taylor Sam’s was groomed to harbor the same quality ingredients, personal service and values that Scott and Dawn had always offered the extended family that graced their doors.
